FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the Philippines! (1 to 20)

1. Marian Rivera
Marimar was clearly destined for greatness, and it was up to Marian to fulfill the promise. So she put on a sun-dress, danced on the beach, showed creamy gams, just enough looks at her cleavage, actually good acting and—boom!—clear dominance in the ratings game. Now with Dyesebel, she’s teasing us with implied toplessness and mermaid fins, the excitement has become unbearable. We promise to take part in the full unveiling!

2. Megan Fox
Her insane rise to stardom and landing on top of FHM’s global list of the 100 Sexiest are anchored on just one movie, and one where human participation could have been done away with easily: Transformers. How could such adoration be so swift? From a purely physical aspect, Megan draws no arguments. The official FHM effusive praise is that she’s the “junior Angelina Jolie.” Of course!

3. Katrina Halili
After years terrorizing lead stars in blockbuster soaps, Katrina has spent numerous afternoons being thrashed about, spat at, insulted, slapped in the face in the afternoon weepfest Magdusa Ka. Surely this will not benefit our only two-time winner at all! While we all want to love a pushover, we certainly can’t lust after one. But we trust the show’s writers will sneak in a bikini scene there somewhere.

4. Angel Locsin
Not a few thought switching TV networks was a gross miscalculation on her part. But she is still in control of her worth, clearly in the mega-millions as evidenced by her stellar celebrity endorsements, a major TV drama, movies made and yet-to-be-made. And the clincher: She is still supernova-hot and not a hint of an implosion evident.

5. Diana Zubiri
When FHM becomes a Philippine institution and pop culture critics begin to dissect our idea of beauty, they would probably come up with Diana Zubiri as the archetype. Not that the women who have graced our pages are not varied—it’s just that Diana is so loved by the readers that they’ve followed her in every pursuit she has taken. She is still Diana Zubiri, certified FHM hottie.

6. Ehra Madrigal
Beware: Ehra’s fighting skills will continue to improve as her new show Asero unfolds. Something in the mold of a Lara Croft is how she sees her career progress, in fact. But the gonads-crushing is just for show—in real life she’s so nice she’d probably take you to a hospital if she suspected you have a hernia.

7. Iwa Moto
If you have been watching Nuts Entertainment, you must have been paying particular attention to Iwa Moto, noting how she is so fond of wearing bikini tops now and how “they’re” naturally beautiful. If you have been watching and were in the insurance business, you’re probably thinking if your company has a policy for insuring valuable body parts.

8. Cristine Reyes
Year by year, little by little, we waited for Cristine to blossom into a fine, vampy and, most important, legal-age lass—expressing through this list, among other communication tools, our desire to have her on the cover. So as soon as she blew her 18th candle last year, we booked her instantly for a cover and calendar shoot.

9. Anne Curtis
Eight years running and we’re still praying to the men’s magazine gods to sway her in our direction. We’re no Aga Muhlach, but we daresay Anne deserves better—read: an FHM cover. We’re not about to beg, because as of now, we’re still salivating over the thought of her being a foxy “goddess of the earth, sky, and water” in Dyosa.

10. Angelica Panganiban
After a fairly recent controversy involving an alleged digital “tweaking” to get her looking immaculately hot and flawless on a liquor calendar photo campaign, the feisty 21-year-old still holds as much spunk and appeal as her onscreen alter egos. Just call to mind her FHM cover appearance last year. Why is she so hot? It’s in that Santa Santita face, and the equally sinful-saintly body.

11. KC Concepcion
The public has eyed this stunner since she was a kid, expecting her to follow the footsteps of her Megastar actress mom. Now, the 25-year-old is not just busy bombarding our boob tubes with commercials and TV specials, she’s now also serious about taking a swing at showbiz life by inking a one-movie deal with Star Cinema and a Valentine’s flick next year for GMA Films.

12. Alessandra De Rossi
Every aspiring and established actress in the country has to inevitably belt out a solo, or warble through a cheap karaoke version of a golden oldie song, even if they can’t hit their Do-Re-Mis. But little sister De Rossi isn’t everybody. Her version of Christopher Cross’ “Sailing,” which was shamelessly plugged in this very magazine, has given the term an entirely new meaning.

13. Bianca King
Bianca once wondered if the public just wanted to see her in sexy magazine spreads. Had she resigned to that thought, we would have offered her a permanent spot in FHM. But, as she so deserved, Bianca caught a big break when she was cast as Dyesebel foe Betty. She vowed to give her all. Her on-cam mean streak we already love. Her suave and sexy costumes as well.

14. Jennylyn Mercado
Her long-overdue FHM debut aside, this may not be Jennylyn’s year, and the chain of events that shook her may have sounded like an ’80s soap, but her steadfastness is impressive. Her fanbase certainly has not dwindled, too; let alone her entry into this year’s list as proof that she has the entire FHM nation behind her—mom or not.

15. EB Babes
Ever since the EB Babes shook, twirled, and beautified Pinoy lunches two years ago, couch potatoes nationwide have found a rejuvenated affinity to Eat Bulaga. And although some may have their own favorite EB Babe, it’s unfair to say that their individual choices carry the load for these girls. Their fame—and more important, their sexiness—is a collective effort. Getchingit

16. Bea Alonzo
16 We’d waited far too long for her close-up and, more important, her 18th birthday, and though signs are poor that she’s going for a grand unveiling in these pages soon, it’s not right that we wish her career ill. Instead, we clapped our hands and bowed our heads when news of her acquiring the coveted Betty La Fea role hit us—that despite the fact that it may seem like a disgrace to her natural, unmatched beauty.

17. Francine Prieto
That’s Entertainment’s Anna Marie Falcon was a dud—no offense to TV’s puyat king and That’s godfather Kuya Germs. The girl needed an upgrade. A few years later, she reemerged as Francine Prieto. Forever milky white, forever body beautiful, this two-time cover star is a true FHM original we’ll forever put on a pedestal.

18. Iya Villania
You know how badly we want her. We’ve been wanting her for years, ever since we saw her in TV commercials right up to her current calling as a host, we’ve wanted her. Only You, dear God, have the power to create legs like hers, You have the power as well to open her mind to our request. Yes, Lord, we’re bad but surely we’ve done some good, too?

19. Riza Santos
Gentlemen, meet Dolphy’s new leading lady. And not just Dolphy’s, but Vic Sotto’s new leading lady—in one new movie, which should be showing last quarter of ‘08. If this isn’t undeniable proof of Riza’s success, then the Kings of Comedy were never even remotely funny to begin with. As usual, we’re proud to be the first to introduce her to the public in our October 2007 cover. We knew she’d be a hit.

20. Michelle Madrigal
There came a time when it was impossible to talk about her sister Ehra without having to mention Michelle, and vice versa. Thank God He invented fame—we can now speak of the Madrigal sisters individually. Especially now that Michelle has taken baby steps toward career grandeur, evident in movies such as Resiklo and shows in her new Kapuso network home.
